Personally, I went at the end of June, when temperatures were 27-31 degrees with sunny skies and a couple of days of clouds with sunshine, which for me was perfect. I also felt it was not overcrowded at all, as you can see in other, more popular destinations like Santorini in Greece and Dubrovnik in Croatia. I also noticed from speaking to people that prices for things like hiring cabanas at certain beach clubs were lower in May/June than in July and August, so it is something to think about, too, if you’re on more of a budget.

I was surpirsed that even the pebbled beaches had really good quality clear waters on sunny days too to go for a nice swim.
Nightlife is nice, too, where you can walk along the main promenade and dine out, go to bars or shisha bars right on the coast and enjoy the sounds of the waves crashing against three shores in warm weather, even at night; it’s definitely a great experience to have.
